Committee discussion on this matter included clarification from staff with respect to the following:
- Potential temporary relocation of the Farmers' Market to Rosalea Park
- Parking provisions for downtown given the intent is to revitalize downtown the attract more people
- a parking strategy will be considered in the overall review of the integrated development plan with the focus on people and sustainable mobility
- Timelines and frequency for construction infrastructure projects for downtown
- a coordinated approach will be undertaken with respect to scheduling and phasing the projects to minimize impact on the area
