Call to Order

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m., recessed at 7:08 p.m., moved into Closed Session at 7:17 p.m. and recessed at 8:53 p.m. Committee reconvened in Open Session at 8:55 p.m and adjourned at 9:00 p.m.

Ken Giles, Member, attended the meeting virtually. All others attended in person.

  That the agenda for the Brampton Sports Hall Fame Committee meeting of December 1, 2022 be approved as published and circulated.

The minutes were considered by Committee of Council on November 28, 2022, and approved by Council on November 30, 2022.  The minutes were provided for Committee’s information.

The following motion was considered.

• SHF025-2022

  That Committee proceed into Closed Session to discuss matters pertaining to the following:

  13.1. Open Meeting Exception under Section 239 (2) (b) of the Municipal Act 2001:  

  Personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees.

  
  In Open Session, the Chair reported on the status of matters considered in Closed Session, as follows:

  13.1 - This item was considered by Committee in Closed Session, information was received and direction was given to staff (See Recommendation SHF026-2022 below)

  That the direction agreed upon within Closed Session, be approved, and that the official results be announced by media release once approved by Council.
