That the following written questions be added to the July 6th Council agenda:

2. If it is found that the Mayor’s staff to have been working on the leadership during times when they were being paid by the City of Brampton; how will these funds be recovered?

3. Please explain how Corporation Communications ensure that all messaging has been approved by Council – and that they are not preparing and distributing political messages not approved by Council.
4. On the June 15th, 2022 Council Meeting agenda, staff were seeking a budget amendment in order to access $345,000 in federal funding for a digital sign in Ken Whillans Square – what is the status of this application? Has the delay in Council approval compromised the City’s ability to access these federal tourism dollars?
5. Please identify and detail the procedural, operational and financial consequences to all agenda items which were on the printed agendas for the June 15th, 2022 City Council Meeting; and the June 17th, 2022 Special Council Meeting; both of which failed for quorum due to the absences of Mayor Brown & Councillors Santos/Vicente/Palleschi & Singh.
6. The June 15th, 2022 Council agenda cancelled due to lack of quorum delayed countless planning related approvals such as zoning approvals; zoning amendments; acceptance and assumption of subdivisions; establish lands as public highway; as well as the appointment of bylaw Enforcement Officers ? What is the projected economic impact of Council’s failure to ratify these decisions, and what is the estimated number of local businesses and jobs potentially impacted?
7. With the delay in Council approval to proceed with the issuance of an RFP for the procurement of armoured car services; how does this delay impact the contractual agreement with the City’s current service provider and continuity of service? Specifically, what are the financial implications if any?
8. With the delay in Council approval to proceed with the issuance of an RFP for the procurement of Technology Security Operations Service Centre; how does this delay impact the contractual agreement with the City’s current service provider and continuity of service? Specifically, what are the financial implications if any?
9. How has the delay in Council approval to proceed with entering into a waste collection agreement with the Region of Peel, impact the Region of Peel’s service contracts with their third-party service providers?
